PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and the external shape dimension and to improve the efficiency of the washing operation by providing a single motor driving a washing pump and discharge pump in common and by controlling the driving extent of the washing pump by the motor based on the detection result of the quantity of washing. SOLUTION: A washing pump 16 and a discharge pump 17 are driven in common by a single motor 18 so that the weight can be reduced, the external shape dimension can be reduced, and the structure can be simplified. As for the driving extent of the washing pump 16 by the motor 18, the quantity of washing injected from a jet arm 10 are reaching the circumferential wall of a washing chamber 5 is detected by a dead water sensor. Because being decided according to the detection result, the quantity of the washing reaching the circumferential wall of the washing chamber 5 is decided by the injection pressure and quantity of the washing relative to the quantity of the dishes so that the appropriate injection pressure and quantity of the washing are obtained according to the quantity of dishes, thereby washing without generating dead water.
