PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a treatment nonuniformity due to vibration from being generated and a resistance to plate wear due to the deposition insufficiency of anchor silver from being deteriorated by rotating a treating liquid supply roller by the drive of a drive mechanism in such a state that the surface of the roller is separated minutely distant from the surface of a printing plate. SOLUTION: A roller body 75 is separated only by a distance Y from an image face 8. The outside diameter of a positioning part 77 is set so that the distance Y becomes a very low value. Thus it is possible to supply a developing solution scooped up from a developing tank 65 by a developing solution supply roller 66, to the surface of a printing plate 7 by capillarity. Since the roller body 75 of the developing solution supply roller 66 and the image face 8 of the printing plate 7 are not directly brought into contact with each other, the image face 8 is rubbed by the developing solution supply roller 66 and a treatment nonuniformity attributed to the vibration of the developing solution supply roller 66 is generated. In addition, the incomplete deposition of anchor silver which would otherwise continue to deposit following the deposition of silver immediately after the supply of the developing solution can be effectively prevented from occurring by the rubbing action of the roller 66 over the image face 8. |
