<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device capable of more simply adjusting a scanning line without raising cost. SOLUTION: This coordinate input device has an operation part 104 for inputting the position of a shield for shielding light beams emitted from light sources as coordinates by retro-reflecting light beams emitted from optical units 102A, 102B for emitting light beams approximately parallel to a touch panel 101 by reflection members 103A to 103C arranged along the periphery of the panel 101 and receiving the reflected beams by CCD line sensors incorporated in the units 102A, 102B. In the device, the height of each CCD line sensor being the vertical length of the line sensor from the panel 101 is set to be long in accordance with the whole length of the reflection members 103A to 103C arranged along the periphery of the panel 101.</p> |
