PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the space in a camera housing in a photographing lens part for an electronic camera constituting a catoptic system. SOLUTION: This photographing lens device for an electronic camera 12 constitutes the catoptic system by which luminous flux from a subject is taken in along a 1st horizontal optical axis OA1 and reflected along a 2nd perpendicular optical axis OA2 by a mirror 33, and then formed into an image on a CCD 92. A motor and plungers 34, 56 and 66 are disposed to drive a focusing means, a shutter means 54 and a diaphragm means 64 respectively. The motor and the plungers 34, 56 and 66 are respectively separately arranged in three spaces out of four spaces divided by a plane regulated by 1st and 2nd optical axes OA1 and OA2, and a light quantity adjusting surface regulated by light quantity adjusting means 54 and 64.
