SPECTRUM SPREAD COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND ITS SYNCHRONISM ACQUIRING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrum spread communication device which can enhance decision precision in synchronism acquisition without increasing the number of components nor the cost. SOLUTION: Synchronizing circuits 17 and 57 perform synchronism acquiring operation consisting of 1st acquiring operation and 2nd acquiring operation entered after the 1st acquiring operation is completed and also has a decision part which decides a correlation maximum peak value and the phase quantity corresponding to the correlation maximum peak value at a halfway detection frequency of the correlation value detection frequency in the 1st acquiring operation determined by (correlation detection frequency = number of chips/ phase advance quantity of spread code per detection) and also calculates the sum of correlation values of correlation value detection times and a comparison part which finds a mean correlation value from the sum of correlation values, decides whether or not (correlation maximum peak value > mean correlation value + threshold), and decides whether or not the 1st acquiring operation is completed according to the decision result.
