PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a coil through easier stage replacement using only one molding jig, even for various winding patterns without giving damages to the magnet wire surface and also wire itself with the molding work of the coil end. SOLUTION: This apparatus forms a coil end 11a by inserting a coil into the grooves (13a, 13b) of a stator iron core 10 in three phases in a plurality of steps and has a structure, comprising an iron core receptor for supporting a stator iron core, a jig body to be inserted into or removed from the stator iron core, a moving mechanism 19 for inserting or removing the jig body into or form the stator iron core through the reciprocal movement of the iron core receptor or jig body, a plurality of molding blades 34 to be projected in the axial direction at the external circumference surface of the jig body and inserted to the relevant groove, when the jig body is inserted to the stator iron core and a turning mechanism for selecting the groove position to which the molding blade is inserted by making the stator iron core or jig body turn. In this case, the advance and retreat movement of a core metal 30 forming the jig body causes the molding blade 34 to be inserted expandably from the radial direction of the stator iron core 10.
