PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exchange processing cartridges without requiring troublesome handling of an operator when one of the processing cartridges is found unloaded in a recorder provided with a rotating body storing a plurality of processing cartridges for toner of each color. SOLUTION: In this device, a processing cartridge 115 which is not stored is detected by rotating a rotating body 113 where a plurality of processing cartridges 115 for each toner color is contained and at the same time, when the processing cartridge is not stored to the rotating body 113, controlling the rotating body 113 so that a not-stored position of the rotating body 113 is faced to an exchange opening. |
