PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance balance tolerance for a component without stopping rotation of the component to be balanced. SOLUTION: The component 10 to be balanced is attached between rotatable attaching tools 22, 23 for setting pseudo center-line of rotation, and it is rotated upto a rotational speed preselected to determine the level of unbalance and angular position. An automatic control system 50 introduces laser beam pulses locally to an unbalanced portion during the rotation of the component, to remove a material in the portion by the laser beam pulses having an output and/or a duration, depending on an mount of the material to be removed from the unbalance portion. This procedure herein is conducted in further rotation of the component by the automatic control system 50, until balance satisfies the balance tolerance range selected preliminarily.
