PURPOSE: A method and a device are provided to transmit a plurality of different service data, by using an RF(Radio Frequency) channel in an HFC(Hybrid Fiber/Coax) network. CONSTITUTION: A device for transmitting an HFC(Hybrid Fiber/Coax) with a signal RF(Radio Frequency) channel-type for down stream transmission comprises a network connection unit for matching with an outer network and a subscriber connection unit for transmitting a single RF band signal, received through a COAX(COAXIAL CABLE), to various subscriber terminals. The network connection unit comprises: a data multiplexer for multiplexing a plurality of service data; a digital modulator for modulating to transmit through the COAX; an RF coupler for coupling a modulated baseband signal by converting the modulated baseband signal into the single RF band; a channel selector for selecting a desiring single RF channel from the RF band signal, and for converting to the baseband signal; a digital demodulator for demodulating a modulated signal of the baseband to a digital signal; and a data reverse multiplexer for reversely multiplexing the demodulated digital signal. The capacity of the multiplexed data is not over the single RF channel width, and each datum is delivered as a packet type, and headers of the each packet includes a divider dividing kinds of each datum.
