PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unlock the locking condition of a locking device provided on the lower part of a shutter main body to improve operability. SOLUTION: On this building opening shutter 1 provided with a locking device 11 for fixing the shutter main body 2 on the closing position on the lower part of the shutter main body 2, the lock device 11 is provided with an engaging part engaged with an engaged part 16 provided on the lower part of a guide rail 6 on both sides of the shutter main body 2 or under the shutter main body 2. The lock device 11 is constituted so as to release engagement of the engaging part of the locking device 11 with the engaged part 16 by operation of pulling up a string-like or a bar-like remote operating member 17 for pulling upward the shutter main body 2 in the closed condition.
