PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is used for breaking molded resin articles for seeding-raising pots, can increase the number of the molded resin articles to be treated, and can reduce the load of a worker by automatically breaking the molded resin articles and stacking the obtained seeding-raising pots. SOLUTION: This device for breaking molded resin articles for seedling- raising pots comprises a fixing means 2 for fixing mutually breakably connected seedling-raising pots P, a press means 3 for pressing and breaking the connected portion of the mutually breakably connected seedling-raising pots P, sucking means 4 for sucking and holding the broken and separated seedling-raising pots P, rotation means 5 for rotating the sucking means 4 to downward direct the broken surfaces of the seedling-raising pots P, support means which are disposed below the sucking means 4 and used for supporting the obtained seedling-raising pots P, and discharging means for discharging the stacked plural seeding-raising pots P at prescribed positions.
