PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve inconveniences as shown bellow: when float fishing is carried out at a point which is distant from an anguler seat while scattering bait at the same time, a tackle is easily entangled with a fishline since a float and a bait-scattering device is separated in a conventional fishing gear; scattering bait is apt to spill out before or when it reaches water surface since a conventional bait-scattering device is often made of a net; and further, bait-scattering operation is hardly controllable when using a conventional bait-scattering device. SOLUTION: This float comprises a cylinder-shaped buoyant body 2, a net 3 spread cover the lower opening 21 of the buoyant body 2 and a weight 6 placed at a position below the lower opening 21. The float is provided with a rod 4 for turning the buoyant body 2 from side to side which connects a position at or near the lower end of the weight 6 to a position at the peripheral edge of the upper opening 22 of the buoyant body 2, and a line-insertion member 5, which is slidable on the rod 4, is placed on it.
