PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a bicycle easy to exchange a battery with high crime prevention, having an electric unlock device and a manual unlock device. SOLUTION: Based on the idea that easiness of exchange of a battery and sure prevention of the theft of the battery can be attained by unlocking a battery case by the use of a manual unlock device provided separately from an electric unlock device, this lock device for a bicycle is provided with a key cylinder type manual unlock device 60 unlocking a lock mechanism by rotational movement in either direction of normal or reverse rotation of the key cylinder, and unlocking the battery case lock mechanism by rotational movement in the other direction.
