<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate production management through elimination of drainage pipe leakage accident after the execution of work to improve productivity by forming a cold water meltable cap for a pipe internal pressure test out of rice-glycogen 2 filled in a cylindrical pipe and solidified therein. SOLUTION: A cold water meltable cap used at the time of an airtightness test for the inside of pipe after the completion of drainage piping work for building facility is formed to have a structure capable of holding a pressure by filling and solidifying a rice glycogen 2 in the inside of a pipe 1, and then bringing the bonding surfaces of the pipe 1 and the rice-glycogen 2 into close contact with each other. In use, this cap is mounted at a nearest position of a drainage pipe 4 of an air conditioner 5 or sanitary appliance 7 by the use of pipe joint, then compression air is supplied from a compressor 6, and an airtightness test is carried out. After the pressure in the pipe is confirmed normal the air is taken out to complete the test with the result of approval. Thereafter, water is made to flow from a drain pan 8 or the appliance 7, the rice- glycogen 2 is dissolved with the water and drained.</p> |
