PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device capable of efficiently inputting and outputting plural pieces of continuous data between external equipment and a system bus. SOLUTION: This data transfer device is provided with a bus buffer 10 and a bus control part 11 to transfer data among plural input/output ports 5a to 5d, port buffers 13a to 13d to temporarily store stream data and a system bus 3 and a band of a local bus 12 to connect the bus buffer 10 with the port buffers 13a to 13d is restricted as smaller than that of the system bus 3.
