PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease number of components including large-sized components by suppressing production of an abnormally oscillated signal, to make the size small and to easily adjust an output level of the oscillated signal. SOLUTION: The voltage controlled oscillator is provided with an oscillation transistor(TR) 11 of common base connection that provides an output of an oscillation signal, an amplifier TR 12 of common emitter connection that amplifies the oscillation signal and a resonance circuit 2 that is connected to a collector of the oscillation TR 11. The resonance circuit 2 is provided with a resonance use microstrip line 21 with a tap T connected to a DC circuit between the collector of the oscillation TR 11 and an emitter of the amplifier TR 12 and a resonance use capacitor 22 that is connected to the collector of the oscillation TR 11 and ground. Then a coupling capacitor 17 through which the oscillation signal is transmitted is connected between the tap T of the resonance use microstrip line 21 and a base of the amplifier TR 12.
