DISK APPARATUS WITH DUST PROTECTIVE LID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent invasion of a liquid by setting a projecting streak for prevention of drops in a longitudinal direction to a rear face of a dust protective lid. SOLUTION: A dust protective lid 2 is formed by setting a pair of hinge projections 2c and 2c to a slim rectangular body 2b of an area whereby a medium insertion opening 1 can be shut. The hinge projections 2c are set projecting right and left in parallel from an upper edge of the body 2b and supported while being held between a hinge recess 11a of a hinge plate 11 and a rear face of a front panel 4c. The dust protective lid 2 is urged by a spring towards a shut posture. A rear face of the body 2b is pressed in touch with a peripheral edge of the medium insertion opening 1 when the lid is shut. A projecting streak 3 for drip-proof is formed to a central part of the rear face of the dust protective lid 2 over a total length in a longitudinal direction. The projecting streak is set to project towards a drive apparatus 5 continuously in parallel to an upper and a lower edges of the body 2b. When a medium 6 is not inserted, the dust protective lid 2 has an upper edge supported freely rotatably to hang down and is urged by the spring, so that the medium insertion opening 1 is shut to prevent invasion of dust.
