PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a countdown voice generator that informs a user about a preset temporal timing with a countdown voice and to provide a countdown voice generating system. SOLUTION: This countdown voice generator is provided with a reproduction means 11 that reproduces data including a video image and time information where a prescribed temporal synchronization relation is maintained, a video output means 14 that outputs a video image reproduced by the reproduction means 11, a countdown voice generating means 12 that generates a countdown voice from a prescribed time before a preset countdown end time denoted by the time information reproduced by the reproduction means 11 until the countdown end time, and a voice output means 13 that outputs the countdown voice generated by the countdown voice generating means 12.
