PURPOSE: A method for reducing blooming spacing by introducing transcription factor PetSPL2 obtained from petunia is provided to produce transformed plants by using genes encoding morphologically transformable transcription factor. CONSTITUTION: The separated gene contains DNA having 190-807th nucleotide sequence in Sequence 1 or DNA encoding transcription factor which is amplified by the first primer having CARGCNYTNGGNGGNCAY sequence and the second primer having ARNCKNARYTCNARRTC sequence and is capable of transforming morphology and color of flower, size or number of branches of plant. This gene is introduced into plant cell to reproduce it. The introduction can be performed by uniting the gene with plant expression vector.
