PURPOSE: A heater of an electric vehicle is provided to improve the driving efficiency by improving the cooling efficiency of a driving motor. CONSTITUTION: A coolant is supplied by forming a waterway(2) in a driving motor(1). An inlet pipe(4) and an outlet pipe(3) are connected with the waterway(2). The coolant is circulated by installing a pump(5) in the outlet pipe(3) and a heating unit(6) between the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe. A heater(8) installed in the heating unit. A valve(7) and the heater are connected with a controller(9). A blowing fan is installed in one side of the heater and the heating unit. The cooling efficiency of the driving motor is improved by cooling as a water-cooling system with the waterway. A vehicle is effectively heated by heating with the heat of the coolant to be absorbed during cooling the driving motor.
