The invention relates to a device for relieving tension or similar in the area of the back muscles of the human body, especially the spinal column. The device comprises an essentially bar-shaped moulded part (1) with two identical humps (2), which forms a support body. Said humps are situated adjacently to each other, a permanently fixed distance apart, and are delimited by arched-shaped surfaces. The device also comprises identically sized and shaped shoulders (4) which adjoin the two ends of the humps (2) facing away from each other and serve as stabilizors.
