DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CANCELLATION OF MULTI USER INTERFERENCE FOR VARIOUS TRANSFER RATE SERVICE

PURPOSE: A device and a method for cancellation of multi user interference for various transfer rate service are provided to improve receiving quality upon receiving user signal with various transfer rate by differentiating correlation time of a correlation unit or using previous correlation result to cancel multi user interference. CONSTITUTION: A device for cancellation of multi user interference for various transfer rate service comprises a low-pass filter(101), a complex correlation unit(110), a selection unit(120) and a cancellation unit(140). The low-pass filter receives user signal with different transfer rate and filters the same into low frequency band of baseband signal. The correlation unit diffuses respective user code into output signal from the filter to calculate correlation value in correlation interval determined by user's transfer rate. The selection unit selects user signal with maximum correlation value and outputs the same. The cancellation unit diffuses respective user code again into output signal from the selection unit to mix with output signal from the filter, thereby canceling user interference.
