PURPOSE: A permeable concrete composition comprising portland cement, air entraining agent, water and aggregates is provided to improve bending and compression strength, permeability and cold hardiness due to freezing and thawing- resistance. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises 250-300kg/m¬3 of portland cement, 0.5-1.0 wt.%(based on 100pts.wt. of portland cement) of air entraining agent, water and 1550-1700kg/m¬3 of aggregates having absorbency less than 3%, abrasion weight loss less than 40%, drying gravity more than 2.5 and stability less than 12%. The composition for roads and parking area contains aggregates having a diameter of 10-13mm and the 80% transparent rate of a 10mm sieve and for bicycle roads and pavement having a diameter of 5-10mm and the 77% transparent rate of a 5mm sieve.
