In the present invention there is disclosed a skin cleaning preparation being free of 1-alkenes containing more than 10 carbon atoms which contains: (a) 0.01 to 5 percent by weight of copolymer formed by a monomer being selected from a group comprising acrylic acid, salts and derivatives thereof as well as mixtures of these salts and derivatives, (b) 0.05 to 20 percent by weight of a non-emulsifying cleaning surface-active substance with hydrophilic-lipophilic equilibrium value above 11, (c) 0.5 to 40 percent by weight of oil being selected a group comprising chiefly mineral oil, petrolatum, branched hydrocarbons containing 7 to 40 carbon atoms and esters of carboxylic acids containing 1 to 30 carbon atoms with alcohols having 1 to 30 carbon atoms and (d) 20 to 99.44 percent by weight water, whereby the weight percentages are based on the invented skin cleaning preparation total weight.
