PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily treat organic solvents liable to cause soil contamination or groundwater contamination, such as trichloroethylene. SOLUTION: This cleaning treatment method comprises spraying soil with a chlorine dioxide aqueous solution having a 300-1,400 ppm chlorine dioxide concentration, in a 200-250 l/a(liters/are) amount of the solution per unit area to be sprayed, to treat trichloroethylene, tetrachloroethylene and/or other organic solvent based harmful substances in the soil. Thus, the objective soil cleaning treatment can easily be performed.
