<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a malfunction of an immobilizer system caused by an external electromagnetic field and to facilitate the installing work and handling by integrally installing an immobilizer ECU and a transmitting/receiving coil in the immobilizer system into a steering lock device. SOLUTION: This steering lock device 10 is locked by pulling a key out of an ignition cylinder lock, while the locking is released by turning the inserted key. A transmitting/receiving coil 16 receiving a secret code signal from a transponder of the key inserted in the cylinder lock is provided on a coil hold frame 18 formed around a key inlet of the cylinder lock, while an immobilizer ECU processing the secret code signal received by the transmitting/receiving coil 16 and outputting a engine start permission signal is housed in a case 17. The case 17 is fixed to a rear portion of a device body 11 with small screws 19.</p> |
