PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate device capable of saving gate action space, and achieving favorable usability. SOLUTION: One end side of a master door 2a is rotatably connected to a gate pole 1 to set the master door 2a to be freely opened/closed like a hinged door, a slave door 2b is disposed to be overlapped with the master door 2a, and an upper and a lower ends of the slave door 2b are slidably installed on an upper and a lower ends of the master door 2a in such a way that the slave door 2b can be slid to be opened/closed in this gate device, thereby gate action space can be saved.
