PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To early detect leak and minimize damage in case leak occurs from the mounting portion of a water faucet or the connection portion of a stopcock in the interior of a cabinet of a washstand and a sink. SOLUTION: In this washstand/sink, a water faucet 4 is mounted on the top of a counter 2 and a connecting pipe 7 of the water faucet 4 is connected to a stopcock 14 in the interior of a cabinet 8. In this case, a water pan 16 or the like is arranged below the mounting portion of the water faucet 4 and the connection of the stop cock 14, a sensor 20 detecting water is mounted to the water pan 16 to output a detection signal of the sensor 20 to an alarm 22. In the water pan 16, a slope 18 or the like tilted down toward a water collection portion 19 or the like to which the sensor 20 is attached, is formed.
