PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesion of paper body to the surface of cylindrical yankee dryer and to make a high-quality crepe form in a method for producing a crepe paper using the cylindrical yankee dryer. SOLUTION: In this method for producing a crepe paper by sticking a paper body P to the surface of a rotating cylindrical yankee dryer Y and separating the paper body P through a doctor blade D from the surface, in a state in which the paper P is being supplied to the cylindrical yankee dryer Y, a crepe auxiliary C containing 0.1μg to 100μg/m2 of molybdenum disulfide is continuously supplied to the direct surface of the cylindrical yankee dryer Y. Since adhesivity of the paper body is improved, a high-quality crepe paper having a reduced crepe ratio and uniformly provided with fine and dense crepe 'microscopic holding' as a crepe can be produced.
