PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability while reducing the size by supplying a non- imaging liquid through a recording liquid channel and delivering an imaging liquid into the non-imaging liquid flowing through the recording liquid channel such that it does not touch the inner wall face of the recording liquid channel thereby enhancing the image quality while simplifying the structure of a recording head. SOLUTION: A transparent liquid (non-imaging liquid) CL and an imaging liquid INK are delivered as a continuous flow from a recording liquid delivery opening 44 where channels 20, 22 are joined. The ink channel 22 delivers the imaging liquid INK into the transparent liquid C1 in the direction substantially perpendicular to the flow direction of the recording channel 20. A columnar protrusion 46 is formed on the inner wall of the recording channel 20 and the ink channel 22 opens to the top face of the protrusion 46 wherein the opening serves as an imaging liquid delivery opening 48. The protrusion 46 is higher at least 5μm than the inner wall of the recording channel 20. According to the structure, the imaging liquid INK is introduced, while being wrapped up in the transparent liquid C1, to the recording liquid delivery opening 44 without touching the inner wall of the recording channel 20 or being disturbed.
