PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing a tin plate having superior paintability and corrosion resistance by electrolytic pickling in alkali solution after chemical treatment, thereby homogenizing chromium oxide and tin oxide film. CONSTITUTION: In the manufacture of tin plate where tin plate undergoes electrolytic pickling in an alkali solution after chemical treatment, it is characterized in that after chemical treatment, the alkali solution is 0.1-105 of sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate. The electric current in the electrolytic pickling process is in a range of 0.1 to 20 coulomb.
