PURPOSE: A horizontal size reference voltage adjusting device is provided to be capable of adjusting a horizontal size reference voltage according to an operation mode without adjusting that voltage manually. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(100) judges whether any operating mode is inputted, using horizontal and vertical synchronous signals from a video card that is included in a computer system, and outputs an operating mode signal to a horizontal size adjusting part(300). The microcomputer(100) outputs a signal for adjusting a horizontal size to a horizontal size adjusting part(300) and a horizontal size control signal to a processor(200). The microcomputer(100) outputs a pulse width modulation(PWM) control signal to a horizontal size reference voltage adjusting part(400). The horizontal size reference voltage adjusting part(400) includes a filter(R10, C) for converting the PWM control signal of an alternating current component into that of a direct current component, and a resistor(R11) for preventing over-current from being applied, and outputs a horizontal size reference voltage to the horizontal size adjusting part(300).
