A product support such as a corner post (10) used for cushioning and supporting large appliances (12) is provided. The support post comprises spaced substantially parallel opposing walls (24, 26) connected at the ends (20, 22). The opposing walls have at least one area of contact (38, 40) spac ed from the ends wherein the opposing walls are joined along at least part of t he area of contact. The opposing walls may be joined by adhesive, stitching, or other suitable means.
