CERAMIC SHEATHED ELEMENT GLOW PLUG

Disclosed is a ceramic sheathed element glow plug. The ceramic glow plug of said ceramic sheathed element glow plug consists of an electroconductive layer and an electrically insulating layer. The conductive layer consists of supply line layers and a heating layer. The higher specific electric resistance of the heating layer enables to determine the temperature of the heating layer and the combustion chamber. The electric contact between a connection element and the glow plug is produced by a contact element which is formed from a tablet consisting of an electroconductive powder.
