<p>The invention discloses an authentication method, which includes: sending authentication request from supplicant to authenticator, authenticator returns response package comprising source and target media access control (MAC) address; comparing source MAC addresses of at least two authenticators, selecting determined authenticator which authenticates supplicant next according to determined address selection policy. Correspondingly, the invention discloses an authentication system, a supplicant and an authenticator in the 802.1x authentication process among one supplicant and authenticators.</p> |
