PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use the infrared light from a head lamp as a light source of an infrared ray camera by forming a light shield shade with a visible light cut filter capable of shielding the visible light and transmitting the infrared light. SOLUTION: In this head lamp 1, a light shielding shade 4 shields approximately 50% of the visible light from a light source 2 to form low-beam lighting by the visible light. As the light shielding shade 4 transmits the infrared ray, approximately all of infrared light radiated from the light source 2 is projected in the irradiating direction in the infrared light zone, and the infrared light irradiation zone is obtained even on a part where the visible light is shielded by the light shielding shade 4. The visible light provides the low-beam distribution not giving the dazzlement to a car on the opposite lane, but in the infrared light irradiation zone, a part including the infrared light transmitted through the light shielding shade 4 is added, and the light distribution characteristic approximating to the traveling light distribution superior in the visibility to a long distance can be provided. |
