PURPOSE: An apparatus for changing a direction of a crystal automatic inserting unit is provided to improve work efficiency and to prevent a defective product, by having a crystal of a lead frame face upward and transferred to a transfer rail, and by inverting the lead frame and exhausting the lead frame as a lead of the crystal faces upward so that the lead is cut and solder-welded with an air cutting part and a solder part as the lead frame is inserted into an inserting material and a helical gear and a helical rack gear operates. CONSTITUTION: A crystal of a lead frame(1) faces upward and is transferred by a transfer rail(3), and an inserting material(8) of a body(2) for an automatic insertion is installed. The inserting material is installed on a pillar(11). A helical gear(5) and a helical rack gear surround the lead frame and rotate the lead frame by 180 degrees by a beam sensor(9). The helical rack gear is connected to a floating joint(7), and an air cylinder(6) transfers the lead frame along a guiding part(10). A transfer unit(13) and a transfer rail(3') invert the lead frame and exhaust the lead frame while a lead of the crystal faces upward as the helical gear and the helical rack gear operate.
