PURPOSE: A thin film transistor substrate for a liquid crystal display device having a repairing line is provided to use a repairing line and a repairing connection line effectively by repairing using a neighboring repairing line and a repairing connection line if cuttings of wire are concentrated in specific area. CONSTITUTION: A data line(12) is formed on an insulating substrate(10) vertically and a gate line horizontally. A plurality of driving IC(20, 30) being connected to each data line(12) and the gate line are attached at the upper portion and right portion of the substrate(10). The driving IC(20, 30) are attached to the substrate(10) using a TCP, a plurality of dummy pins(21, 22, 31, 32) are formed at the left and right portions of the substrate(10). A three kinds data lines are insulated and crossed to the data line(12) at the upper and lower peripheral unit of a displaying area(11) of the substrate(10). The first repairing lines(41, 42) are formed at the upper and lower portions at three numbers. The first repairing lines(41, 42) are crossed to a data line(12) being connected to two data driving IC(20), and the upper repairing line(41) and lower repairing line(42) are crossed to the same data line(12). The second repairing lines(43, 45) and the third repairing line(44, 46) are formed at the upper and lower portions by one, and crossed to the all data line(12). A connecting pin(47) crossing to from the upper first repairing line to the third repairing line(41, 43, 44) and the lower first repairing line to the third repairing line(42, 45, 46) are formed on the substrate(10). The first repairing line(41, 42) are connected to each other through a repairing line connecting line(50) formed in a PCB. The first repairing line(41) is connected to all dummy pins(21, 22) of a driving IC(20) connected to the data line(12). |
