PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing straight rail element using recarburization is provided to reduce working time and manufacturing cost by manufacturing chip and effective straight rail material requiring a high degree of hardness, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing straight rail element using recarburization includes a hot rolling step of forming black deformed steel bar for straight rail, a pickling step of making the surface of the black deformed steel bar uniform, a recarburization step of raising a surface carbon content of the recarburization, which is generated when the black deformed steel bar, in a carbonizing mode at the temperature of 800 to 900deg.C, a perfect annealing step of softening the black deformed steel bar, a phosphate coating step for protecting the black deformed steel bar, and a cold drawing step of forming into a desired shape after the phosphate coating step.
