PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple series battery control system which can perform the address setting of each integrated circuit without wiring. SOLUTION: The multiple battery control system includes a battery cell group, where a plurality of battery cells connected in series constitute a unit, an integrated circuit, which controls the battery cell group corresponding to it, and a controller, which transfers a signal wit each integrated circuit. Each integrated circuit is constituted to receive input by the reception from the controller in the first integrated circuit, to repeat, about the output from the first integrated circuit, input ant output to other integrated circuits in order, and to make the last integrated circuit send the output to the controller. The multiple battery control system includes a setting means where different messages are sent from the controller, whereby the initialized address of the integrated circuit is rewritten, thereafter it is changed into a message where the initialized address is not rewritten in other integrated circuits, and the above step is repeated, whereby the addresses of the integrated circuits are set in order.
