<p>The invention relates to an infusion device (10) for infusing a flowable medium into an orifice or a canal of a human or animal body. The device includes a container (16) for containing a flowable medium and which defines an outlet opening with which a nozzle is aligned. A driving means (18) is displaceable within the container for acting on a flowable medium in the container, to discharge the flowable medium via the outlet opening and the nozzle. The infusion device includes two (14) or more additional nozzles which are locatable on one another and on the nozzle of the container, in a configuration in which they are aligned to permit a flowable medium to pass through all the nozzles. As such, a different nozzle can serve to infuse a flowable medium into a series of orifices or canals by sequentially removing one nozzle after the other, thereby preventing cross-infection which could occur if the same nozzle is used, or the use of two or more infusion devices, to avoid cross-infection.</p> |
