Electrically-operated door has one counter-balanced door panel (2) displaced along horizontal guide rails (3) on either side of door panel, during its opening and closing movement under control of electric operating drive, employing drive motor (5) mounted on door panel coupled to driven wheels (6) running along guide rails. Each of the latter has a vertical end section, receiving the driven wheel upon movement of the door panel into the closed position, facilitated by movement of the drive motor between stops relative to the door panel.
