According to the proposal, welded supports of 200-3600 mm size, having a spine with a trapezoidal profile are manufactured on a continuous basis. The proposed production line comprises separate spine and waist-plate preparation sections (1), rows of transfer rollers (2), calibration and jointing station (4), welding unit (5), cutting unit (6) to cut the support to the required size, support storage (7) to hold supports for further processing or despatch, and in some cases, a final processing station (8). |
