The invention relates to a neon glow-discharge lamp, applicable to overnight beaconing of the high-voltage overhead lines in order to ensure the security of the flying machines. The lamp comprises a coil-shaped neon glow-discharge tube (1) having two cold electrodes (2 and 2') at the ends, the electric discharge taking place between said electrodes; the glow-discharge tube is housed inside a transparent glass tube (3), inside the middle portion of which a transparent plastic ring (4) is provided, said tube being filled with a transparent liquid (5), each end thereof being sealed by a polyurethane plug (6) and a silicone rubber plug (7); the glass tube has the metallic sections (8) puttied thereon, screwed together with the sections (9) having the covers (10), accomodating the ballast resistors (11) insulated with resin (14). The resistor and the glow-discharge tube are connected through a weld spot (12), while the resistor and the socket are connected by a screw (13).
