A coupling comprises: a connector 1 having a support plate 7 round which is wrapped a flexible circuit 4 forming contacts; and a counterpart 21 to receive the connector 1 so that the flexible circuit 4 is held by corresponding contacts 25 of the counterpart 21. The flexible circuit 4 is not bonded to the support plate 7; it is located next to the support plate 7 by pins 10.
