A transformer connected to the heat exchange liquid pipes is used to ionize the air, and a heat exchanger is used to remove heat from the air being removed from the building. - A method for purifying and ionizing air comprises removing the air, along with any odors, smoke or moisture, from a residential dwelling and bringing it into contact with a porous material or liquid so that the gas phase is converted into a solid and/or liquid material, e.g. in the form of a powder or coating. A pipe system (3) inside the dwelling delivers liquid to a thermostat-regulated heating unit (1) slanting at an angle of 45 deg. , where rising heat passes over a metal plate made from e.g. iron before it can reach a copper drain (2) in contact with the plate. The same liquid is delivered to the copper drain via a pipe with a T-connection running parallel to the drain and located just 10 cm above it. One branch of this T-connection is in communication with the outside atmosphere. All the pipes carrying the liquid are made off conductive metal connected to a direct voltage transformer used to generate a positive or negative charge for ionization. |
