PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a print system having a power save function in which power save mode is released automatically to allow immediate printing during a time band of high use frequency. SOLUTION: The printer comprises a time output means 24, a power save release time storing section 29, and means 26 for comparing the time outputted from the time output means 24 with the content stored in the power save release time storing section 29 and releasing power save mode when the power save release time is reached. |
