PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a container for blood tests capable of safely and sanitarily both collecting blood samples and inspecting them. SOLUTION: In this container 1 for blood tests, an inner tube 3 is inserted into an outer tube 2 with a bottom, and the upper-end opening 3a of the inner tube 3 is located lower than the upper end 2a of the outer tube 2. A plug body 4 is mounted in such a way as to close the openings 2a and 3a. A notch 3c extended downward is formed in the circumferential edge of the opening 3a of the inner tube 3. In the first state in which the plug body 4 closes the inner tube 3, the plug body 4 is pressed in the inner tube 3 beyond the lower end of the notch 3c to seal the inside of the inner tube 3. In the second state in which the plug body 4 is puled out, the outer tube 2 is closed, and the notch 3c is exposed to connect the inside of the inner tube 3 to a gap 6.
