A method and apparatus for calibrating an imaging device having an image sensor is disclosed. A deviation of the image sensor with respect to a chosen coordinate system is determined. A roll of the image sensor with respect to the chosen coordinate system is determined. A pin hole coordinate with respect to the chosen coordinate system is determined.
