PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forced operation device for an occupant crash protection device. SOLUTION: A occupant crash protection device is provided with a current control circuit 7 performing current-control of output of a DC/DC converter for step-up a battery voltage for feeding to a detonator 9, a constant voltage circuit inputting a battery output, and a collision judgment circuit fed by the constant voltage circuit, performing a collision judgment on the basis of an acceleration signal, and feeding a trigger signal to the current control circuit 7 when it judges that a serious collision has occurred. A power source for ignition is connected to an output side of the DC/CD converter, a power source for a microcomputer for operating the collision judgment circuit is connected to an input side, a ground terminal is connected to a ground side of the detonator 9, and a forced ignition signal is fed. Ignition conditions are performed for securing safety by this forced operation device. An ignition current is fed to the detonator 9 from the current control circuit 7.
